Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is committed to protecting the environment

We have been certified to the International Standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS) ISO14001 since 2005.  We are independently audited every year to maintain our certification.  Our EMS assists us in identifying the potential environmental impacts as a result of our operations and managing these to minimise our impact on the environment, as well as making continual improvements.

Carbon Strategy

We are committed to becoming a net zero carbon airport by 2030.  To date, we have carried out various projects to reduce our carbon footprint, in both the terminal and external areas.  This work is continuing as we proactively implement our carbon strategy.  Further details on how this will be achieved can be found here: https://www.leedsbradfordairport.co.uk/net-zero
