For those not familiar with the spy-action thriller, Killing Eve is a TV series available on BBC Player - filled with drama. The show features two fierce women, equally obsessed with each other, going head-to-head in a game of cat and mouse worldwide.

The story is told from the perspective of a local, so major landmarks tend not to make an appearance. However, with a little investigation, we have pinpointed six destinations you can enjoy first-hand from Yorkshire’s Airport.

Although the inside of Villanelle’s chic apartment resides in a London studio, the apartment's real-life location sits firmly in the streets of Paris, in the upmarket 6th arrondissement. Multiple scenes also take place on the streets of Paris and the Metro.

Tuscany

The rolling hills of Tuscany made a beautiful backdrop throughout the series, with churches, open countryside and picturesque villages. The best way to pay a visit it by flying to Pisa, taking in UNESCO Heritage Site the Tower of Pisa, before a 1-hour train ride to the city of Florence.

A Viennese café makes an appearance, where Villanelle enjoys an ice-cream – however, the shot was actually filmed in Italy! Nonetheless, Vienna is a beautiful destination to explore – the Christmas Markets are extra-special and you can find direct flights throughout the winter season.

Amsterdam

This is where one of the most memorable episodes is set, in the infamous Red Light District. Step behind the scenes at one of the city’s many museums dedicated to the red-lit windows, where you’ll also find galleries, bars and boutiques among the historical buildings.

Rome

The winding streets and busy cobbled paths are perfect for shaking off suspicion, so there’s no wonder Rome was the chosen location for a Killing Eve showdown. The season two finale took place at the Villa Adriana in Tivoli, 30 minutes from the city centre.

Barcelona

A new destination for series three, Barcelona houses Villanelle’s latest apartment. We recommend a scenic journey via cable car up to Montjuic, the perfect place to take in the city’s panoramic landscape. Who knows, you might spot some of the filming locations.
