LEEDS BRADFORD AIRPORT LAUNCHES A GATEWAY TO THE ALPS WITH NEW EASYJET ROUTE TO GENEVA

Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is thrilled to announce the launch of easyJet’s new service to Geneva, which took to the skies for its first flight on Saturday 18 January.

The new route adds another exciting European destination to the airport’s winter offering, building on the recent success of easyJet’s latest route to Paris, its long-standing Belfast connection and Malaga and Palma launching from the end of March 2025.

Travellers can enjoy a convenient and affordable connection to Geneva, Switzerland, opening the door to a wealth of travel opportunities across Europe. Geneva is not only renowned as the gateway to the French and Swiss Alps - ideal for winter sports enthusiasts - but is also compact enough to explore on foot as a city break, with plenty of charm to discover around every corner. The crisp Swiss air and renowned culinary scene make it the perfect destination for anyone looking to embrace a fresh start in the new year.

Winter in Geneva is a magical experience - featuring stunning views over Lake Geneva, a city steeped in history and culture, and countless outdoor adventures. Whether you're looking to relax in the city’s picturesque surroundings or seek thrills on the slopes, Geneva offers something for every traveller.

Flights will operate between 18 January until 23 February, with the first two flights in January operating on a Saturday, before moving to a Sunday for February:

• January: Saturdays, departing at 19:20, returning the following Saturday at 16:45
• February: Sundays, departing at 08:50, returning the following Sunday at 06:40.

These direct flights give passengers the opportunity to immerse themselves in Geneva's rich offerings, from its vibrant cultural scene to the breath-taking landscapes. Whether it’s exploring museums, strolling along Lake Geneva, or enjoying outdoor adventures such as skiing, hiking, or snowboarding, the weekly schedule offers plenty of time to experience it all.
