Travel Disruptions
We hope your travel to the airport is smooth, but it's always good to plan ahead! Here's a list of dates that could affect your travel to the airport, so you can plan accordingly.
New Pool Bank - Jan 25 - March 25
Road works will take place from 6th January to mid-March 2025 between the Dyneley Arms and the White Hart pub in Pool.
To ensure safety, 2-way traffic lights will operate full-time initially The lights will be manned from 7am-7pm during the first phase and when in use after.
While efforts are being made to limit disruption, delays are expected due to this being a primary route to Harrogate, Bradford, Leeds, and the airport.
A59 at Kex Gill closure

The A59 at Kex Gill is closed due to ground movement causing debris to fall on the road. It may remain closed for several weeks.
Use the A65, A660, and A658 via Skipton, Otley, and Pool to reach Harrogate (or vice versa).
